Leeds United are set to clash with Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium on Friday. However, bad weather is posing a serious threat. The snow and ice would be dangerous to the game, which could mean that it will be called off, according to reports.
If the weather conditions do not change and Boro ready to continue with the fixture, the game would have to be rescheduled. Both sides would be hoping to avoid a rescheduling as they do not know what the future holds as the season runs to a close.

Former Manchester United wonderkid (and colleague of both Fabio and Rafael) Rodrigo Possebon has his career in shambles after being released from a Vietnamese football club Ho Chi Minh City. The player used to be a top rated defensive midfielder when he signed to Old Trafford from South America.
United’s Brazil-based scout John Calvert-Toulmin recommended the player to then manager Sir Alex Ferguson whilst he was on scouting duties for Fabio and Rafael Da Silva.

Lyon manager Bruno Genesio is happy with the response given by Memphis Depay after being dropped the bench over the last few matches. The Dutchman was signed from Manchester United back in January 2016 for around €16 million. He has become one of the key players for Lyon since this transfer, but there have been occasions where the player has not been performing up to his best. He has been a regular first-team player after being named on the bench only for two out of the nine games this season. Yet, there has been a feeling that Depay had not been giving his 100% in recent matches.
This proving to be the case and manager Genesio decided to act by dropping the player to the bench for the recent game against Dijon. This surprise decision from the manager towards the end of September started rumours that Depay may be sold in the January transfer window. Yet, it appears to have been a ploy to get the former PSV Eindhoven winger back to focus. Since then, the player has been on a great run of form and has been able to score four goals. He also came up with a hat-trick in the 5-0 victory over Troyes during the weekend. This was an extremely important result for Lyon, as it moved them into the top four places.

Former Manchester United right-back Rafael da Silva has recalled an amusing story about how Sir Alex Ferguson would struggle to differentiate him from his identical twin brother Fabio in first-team training.

The Da Silva brothers were first spotted by United scouts when they were playing as 15-year-olds for the Fluminense's youth side. Ferguson, in particular, was impressed by the progress shown by the twins, and he decided to pursue them in the summer of 2008 once they turned 18.

Premier League side Tottenham Hotspurs have had their bid for former Manchester United defender Rafael da Silva thrown out.

Spurs reportedly made the move to land the current Olympique Lyonnais man but the move has failed to pull through.
The 27-year old Brazilian right back arrived from South Africa a decade ago alongside his twin brother. Manchester United were forced to buy Rafael as the players were young then, though their original interest was his brother Fabio. Rafael had the better career, stayed at Old Trafford for longer before he moved to France.

Former Manchester United defender Rafael da Silva feels Romelu Lukaku has the potential to become a top player under the stewardship of Jose Mourinho. The Belgium international joined the Red Devils from Everton earlier last month after they finalised an initial £75m for his transfer.
Speaking to Omni Sport, Rafael, who won three Premier League titles at Old Trafford between 2008 and 2015, recalls Lukaku bagging an impressive hat-trick for West Bromwich Albion during the 5-5 draw against United in the final game of the 2012-2013 season.

Tottenham Hotspur are reported to have failed with an approach to sign former Manchester United defender Rafael da Silva this summer. The Brazilian right-back is currently in the ranks of Lyon whom he joined from Manchester United in the summer of 2015.
The 27-year-old managed over 100 top-flight appearances for Manchester United during his seven-year stay between 2008 and 2015 and Spurs have identified him as a potential replacement for Kyle Walker, who left for Manchester City earlier in the month.
