Brazilian defender Rafael da Silva has reacted to the news that Cristiano Ronaldo is back at Manchester United after 12 years. Rafael da Silva took to his official Twitter handle to express his delight at the move. According to him, the king is back.

Rafael da Silva and Ronaldo played together in the Manchester United team for one season before the Portuguese international skipper left the Red Devils to sign for Real Madrid. Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid paid a then world-record fee of £80m to sign Ronaldo and he spent nine years at the club before signing for Italian Serie A club Juventus.

Brazilian international Rafael and Ronaldo won the Premier League title in the one season spent together in the Manchester United first team. The Red Devils also reached the Champions League final in the same season before they were beaten 2-0 by Barcelona thanks to the goals from Samuel Eto’o and Lionel Messi.
Rafael was at Manchester United until the advent of the Louis Van Gaal managerial era at the Theatre of Dreams. He left the club to sign for Lyon in the French Ligue 1 in the summer of 2015. Rafael spent five years at Lyon until last summer when he joined Istanbul Basaksehir in the Turkish Super League. The fullback is a free agent at the moment after leaving Istanbul Basaksehirthis summer.
Manchester United fans including Rafael da Silva were treated to a mind-blowing news that the club managed to re-sign Ronaldo ahead of city rivals Manchester City. The Portuguese international captain was closing in on a move to the Etihad Stadium before it was hijacked by the Red Devils. Ronaldo is expected to wait until after the international break before he makes his second debut for Manchester United. He won't be available for the Wolves game this weekend.
