Fabio Da Silva has said that he is eagerly waiting for QPR’s next game against Chelsea. Silva is a contracted player of Manchester United, but, he has been placed on loan to QPR this season.

The winger hasn’t been able to make that much impact playing for QPR in the ongoing season, but, he is determined to do well in the further matches. Silva was struggling to find a place in United’s first XI. That prompted Alex Ferguson to place him on loan.

The QPR team hasn’t performed that well in the ongoing season so far. The team was thrashed by Swansea City in its opening match of the season by 5-1. QPR again had to suffer a humiliating defeat against Manchester City. Nine goals have been scored against QPR in three Premier League matches in the current season. Silva admitted that the players didn’t show enough application in the match against Manchester City.

As per Silva, Manchester City is one of the best sides in the competition and you can’t expect to register a win against a side like City after making so many mistakes. There were so many opportunities missed in that match and the players can’t afford to put up the same kind of performance against Chelsea.

Chelsea and QPR have been the arch rivals over the years. A victory over Chelsea means a lot to the QPR fans. Silva desperately wants to make a mark in that match. The Brazilian international said that he has heard about the rivalry between these two teams and he is pretty excited to play in that match. Chelsea is undoubtedly a very strong team and the QPR players would have to be at their best to sneak in a victory in that all important match.
