According to Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are ready to part ways with full-back Brandon Williams in the ongoing 2022 summer transfer window. The 21-year-old came through the ranks at Old Trafford, eventually making his first-team bow under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
He has since made 50 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring once and assisting three more. While he did show promise, it has failed to translate into a bigger role in the playing squad.
Williams was loaned out to Norwich City for the 2021/22 campaign, and he made 26 appearances for the Canaries as they once again failed to stave off relegation from the English top flight. The 21-year-old might have enjoyed regular playing time at Carrow Road, but it did little to impress Manchester United, who are now ready to cash in.

With Manchester United securing a 1-1 draw against Spanish La Liga giants and current champions Atletico Madrid iin the first leg of their UEFA Champions League knockout clash on Wednesday night, it has relatively become somewhat easier for them to go ahead of their rivals into the next round. Heading into the tie, United were seen by a lot of people as the underdogs because of the kind of unstable fork that they have been in the last couple of weeks. However, while they were mostly poor and unimpressive for most parts of the game, they were able to snatch a draw through an Anthony Elanga strike in the second half to set the tie on a stalemate before the second leg.
