The Bundesliga club Freiburg might get Fabio da Silva on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season. Discussions have taken place and David Moyes is ready to let the left-back leave. The United manager is not worries as he has Alexander Büttner as cover for Patrice Evra in the position.

The fact that Moyes is willing to let Fabio leave could also mean that there are still hopes that there will be a temporary move for Fábio Coentrão, the Real Madrid left-back, even with resistance from the Spanish club.

Fábio da Silva has shown himself in three appearances in this season. The most recent appearance on 5th Jan only lasted four minutes after which the Brazilian was sent off. Apparently he came out as a 76th-minute replacement in the 2-1 FA Cup defeat to Swansea City at Old Trafford.

Javier Hernández congratulated Manchester United's one and only Fábio da Silva after he scored this season against Norwich City in the Capital One Cup. It was an exceptional appearance for the left-back
Freiburg is 16th in the Bundesliga which means he occupies a place that would result in him having a play-off against a side seeking promotion at the end of the season.

Da Silva, was on loan last season at QPR. He is extra to requirements at Old Trafford this term since he started just one game in all competitions in the same time period.
United ‘s Anderson has already been loaned to Fiorentina, with the possibility of Wilfried Zaha being loaned to Cardiff.

Reports claim that there is a possibility that Fabio could very soon be completing a move to Bundesliga strugglers Freiburg.

With the World Cup coming up soon, Fabio will need to get ordinary first-team football inside out in order to make it to Brazil.
